My career change from NHS to beauty and skincare all arose from my love for make-up! Having initially worked as a freelance therapist for The Body Shop I then completed my City & Guilds diploma in cosmetic make-up at Truro College. I have since trained with professional brands including Jane Iredale and Mii and spent many years offering bridal and special occasion make-up.
My make-up service is aimed at ladies over 40 (where I find myself too!) and the changes this time in our lives brings to our skin and make-up application. For example, how to conceal a ‘hooded’ eye lid, recreate a disappearing brow, concealing redness or choosing the right shade and formula of foundation for your skin type.
The importance of extending the principles of good skin care into our make-up is key for healthy, vibrant skin and does not need to be hard to achieve. Delilah is packed full of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant which protects our skin from free radical damage, hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump as well as other skin loving ingredients.

EAR PIERCING
The Caflon ear piercing system is the leading salon brand in the UK. It is safe, hypoallergenic and sterile.
Please note - the minimum age for piercing is 8 years. Those aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Beauty Suite is licensed by the local authority for this service.
A wide choice of earrings are available set in either 24ct gold or Silver (rhodium plated stainless steel) - £40

Important Information:
Ears are pierced with the stud itself which is fired through the lobe with a piercing gun, not a needle.
I am qualified to pierce the lobes only (1st, 2nd, 3rd holes).
Although not painful piercing is a little uncomfortable! You can purchase a topical anaesthetic cream such as LMX4 or Emla without prescription. This needs to be applied 30-45 mins before your appointment. Once applied cover the skin with cling film which will aid the development of the anaesthetic effect. This will not numb the area totally but will help ease discomfort.
