My Journey
I have a keen interest in all things skin! During my time in the beauty and aesthetics field (20 years), I have specialised in facial treatments and the associated science of skin care and its many formulations. The facials I offer are bespoke in many cases, choosing which system and products would be most suited to each client's unique concerns.
Having decided to leave the NHS following a 15 year career as an Occupational Therapist, I undertook my beauty training at Truro college followed by specialist courses in Bristol, London and Manchester. I opened The Beauty Suite in November 2006 and began trading in Truro town centre. I moved the business to my home in Carnon Downs in September 2020. During my time in the NHS I also gained a Master of Science degree in Health care through Exeter University.

Treatment Menu Summary

Environ - the gold standard! A medical grade skincare line based on the use of Vitamin A (the holy grail of beautiful skin) amongst other key ingredients. Their facials are unique in using both electrical current and sound waves to drive active serums into the deeper layers of the skin. Environ also offer a range of peels for sun damage and acne. Environ targets all skincare concerns including rosacea.
Caci Skinbreeze - suited to most skin types this facial uses a number of different technologies for total skin rejuvenation. This treatment sits nicely between Environ (clinical grade) and the facials below as it also has a pampering element with a beautifully scented rose mask and massage. This facial has it all!
Radio Frequency - for skin firming and tightening. This treatment is all about boosting new collagen production as well as optimising the functions of existing collagen. Great for the jowls!
Meso-Lift - a combination of microcurrent to lift and tone through muscle stimulation and collagen serum infusion to plump and volumise.
Microdermabrasion - primarily for exfoliation, great for congested skin, oily skin, enlarged pores and skin in need of refining. Not for sensitive or inflamed skins.
Dermaplaning - for total exfoliation and vellus hair (‘peach fuzz’) removal. For smooth, smooth skin! Also recommended prior to special occasion make-up.
Spa-inspired facials - for pure relaxation and some time out. Full of heavenly massage and beautiful scents. Popular as gifts.
Thermavein - for the reduction and removal of facial thread veins and other vascular blemishes.
Advanced Electrolysis - for the reduction and removal of certain skin blemishes such as seborrhoeic keratoses and xanthelasma.
Cryotherapy - for the reduction and removal of certain skin blemishes and superficial pigmentation.
Skin Pen Microneedling - a clinically verified treatment using sterile needles to induce the skins natural wound healing (collagen production) response. For fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne and surgical scarring, disorders of pigmentation and stretch marks.

A little enhancement to your lashes can help define and open up the eye area. This can be achieved with the very popular lash lift, which when combined with a tint can give the wow factor to your peepers! Brows are as popular as ever and can be tidied with a simple tint and wax or can be made to give a statement look with a combination of artistic techniques.
I also offer ear piercing and thanks to my 20 years experience and NHS background, I have pierced hundreds of ears. The Beauty Suite is licensed by the local authority for advanced aesthetic electrolysis and ear piercing.
