Environ's unique cool peel technology is a non-invasive, intelligent skin peeling system developed by Dr Fernandes to safely and effectively help refine, revive and brighten skin. Environs philosophy behind peeling differs from that of its competitors. Environ does not promote the use of strong acids or over-peeling which can result in complications including hyper and/or hypopigmentation, thinning of the skin and scarring.

Environs approach uses Trichloroacetic acid, a safe man-made chemical with no known allergic reactions. These peels are light, controlled (in cream or gel formula rather than a liquid) and 'cool' due to their controlled evaporation. For this reason they can be repeated for optimal results but without damage to the skin.

Lactic acid and Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) are also used for some peel treatments.
